Are your tires properly inflated? How can you tell? The most ideal time to check your tires is when your car has sat for at least three hours. This is when they are nice and "cool." You should also use a tire gauge. Don't just rely on eyeballing it even though that's great for some things, just not for checking your tire pressure. Also, make sure that every valve (where you fill your tires up with air) has those little caps on them securely. If they don't, dirt and debris can get into the valves, actually causing air to leak out and that's not good as it can cause your tires to deflate. Another tip, don't only go by the PSI on the side of your tires. You should also look in the door jamb of the driver's side door to check the decal for the correct PSI recommendation or in the glove box. If you go by the decal on your car, you will get a PSI number that is much more customized.
