Accelerated Transition to Electrified Driving
JLR is investing $1.5 billion to accelerate its vision for an electric luxury future. The goal is to become the automotive industry’s leading manufacturer of electric luxury vehicles, and the brand has several brand-new electric luxury SUVs in progress. A next-generation midsize electric SUV is currently being designed, along with a four-door GT-style model, currently in progress in Solihull in the United Kingdom.
One of the most exciting aspects of the electrified vision is the announcement of an all-electric Range Rover, expected to be available for pre-order later this year. The first electrified model in the iconic Range Rover model line, this vehicle is expected to debut in 2025.
