Performance
New 2026 Discovery SUVs are powered by a standard turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine, delivering 296 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. For increased performance, an available turbo 3.0-liter 6-cylinder engine comes with mild-hybrid assistance, producing 355 hp and 369 lb-ft. All-Wheel Drive is standard for all models, along with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
The 2026 Discovery is also available with a Towing Pack and Advanced Off-Road Pack. The Towing Pack comes with a tow hitch receiver and additional towing enhancements, while the Advanced Off-Road Pack gives you a two-speed transfer case, off-road traction control, and a rear locking differential for enhanced off-road ability near Missouri City and Pearland.
Design
The 2026 Discovery catches the eye with a luxurious and accommodating design, highlighted by a distinctive frame and confident stance. 20-inch wheels are standard, along with a unique dual sunroof design. The Dynamic SE model offers 21-inch black wheels, a black roof, black roof rails, and darkened taillights, while the new Gemini Edition model offers 21-inch diamond-finish wheels and a hands-free power liftgate. The new Tempest Edition comes with copper-finish 22-inch wheels, matte paint film, and a copper contrast roof.
Inside the cabin, the 2026 Discovery seats seven passengers comfortably, with a maximum cargo capacity of 70.5 cubic feet. Three-zone automatic climate control is standard, along with leather upholstery, a heated power steering wheel, and heated 18-way power-adjustable front seats. The Gemini Edition adds four-zone automatic climate control and a refrigerated center console bin, while the Tempest Edition comes with heated and ventilated 20-way power-adjustable front seats, heated and ventilated second-row seats, and heated third-row seats.
Technology
Standard tech systems for the new 2026 Discovery include an 11.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a Meridian premium sound system. A head-up display, WiFi hotspot, and 14-speaker Meridian sound system are all available.
